Last Monday and Tuesday Night the beaver groups had a very special vistor to their last meeting of the current year. It was with great excitment that the beavers welcomed in Santa Claus for their christmas party night.

Each Beaver got a chance to sit beside Santa and tell him what they wished for this christmas. Some of the items ranged from Nintento to barbie dolls. The Beavers took it in turn to talked to santa and then had a chance to tell him a joke or sing a song.

The magic of Christmas was seen in the eyes of each beaver as they chated away to santa. Each beaver got a present from santa's sack.

After that santa played a game of musical statues with the Beavers. This proved to be great fun.

On the night the beavers had their own band complete with drummer, Tin Whistle and Mouth Organ.

Before Santa left the beavers sang some christmas Songs.

The Beavers now are finished for the year and will re open for 2007 on the Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th Janurary.

The fun will continue then with the beavers heading off to dublin on the 20th Janurary to the Pantomime Sleeping Beauty.

The Beaver leaders would now like to take this Opportunity to wish all the Beavers and their families a very happy Christmas and a great new year.

And rembember Beavers make sure to get to bed early on Christmas Eve and don't forget to leave out some carrotts for Rudulf and some cake for Santy.
