Recently a training course took place for leaders and Venturers in the use of and how to upload news items etc to the new Scout Website. The course took place in the Carrickmacross Workhouse in their computer training room.

The course was ran by Site Administrator Peter Mee. The course covered items such has how to write news articles and then how to get them up on the site. It also covered images including sizes and again how to upload them and place them in a news story. Other items covered were the calendar and how to get events dates and info up on the site.

All sections had at least 2 members there. 3 Venturers also took part. All in all about 16 people took part.

Now we are waiting the influx of articles news items and event reports from all sections. 

The group would like to thank Peter for running the course and helping the group members gain a better idea of the workings of the Website.
