The event is the first of it's kind run by the group. All funds raised will go towards the purchase and development of the group campsite near Dun an Ri forest park.

The event comittee is presently seeking sponsorship for the event. Corporate donations are sought for exclusive tee and green sponsorship. Additionally, event sponsponsorship from small business and individuals is sought.

There are 50 team tee-times available on the day. Teams consist of 4 people and the entry fee is €50 per person to include green fees and a meal. A range of valuable prizes will be presented to serious and fun golfers alike.

Individuals or businesses wishing to sponsor the event or enter a team may contact any group leader, any parent or through the contact form on this site. It is hoped that each family with youth members will find one business sponsor and one team.

The event is to be held at Mannan Castle golf course, an 18-hole par 70 parkland course situated in the townland of Donaghmoyne on the Castleblayney side of Carrickmacross.
