Following a summer of successful overnights and camps, the scouting season starts again for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers, week beginning September 13th. Cubs and Beavers will commence Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th, 7.30-9.00pm.
Scouts are back Friday 18th, 7-9pm. Limited new places are available in the scout section for 12 to 14 year olds, male and female. Enrolment will take place on Friday 25th Sept. at 7.30.
Venturers re-commence for all on Friday 18th.
Note that the group will not be taking in any new Beavers this year. Our programme is changing Nationally with all sections getting one year older. To accommodate this, all Beaver and Cub members will be staying in the same section as last year. Waiting lists will also be moved on one year. Those due to start this year as 6 year olds will instead be admitted next year when they are seven.
While the waiting lists for 2010 and 2011 are filled, some places are still available for 2012 and 2013. Parents wishing to enroll their children in the group can obtain an admission form from the scout hall or via the membership section.
