The Scouts made great use of the good weather and went camping in April. We had a great weekend of camping, pioneering, tree climbing, zip-line, cooking on open fires.

The PLs and APLs got a nice surprise when they were told they were going on survival. Leaving the campsite at 7 in the evening they headed off with their bags on their back for a great adventure. After a great night’s sleep under a bi vey and a hike back to the site the 10 feet tall PLS and APLs arrived back on site in high spirits licking ice creams and talking of the great time they had.
Back on site the rest of the scouts were getting on with the job of keeping the home fires burning with the older ones away it was time for others to shine!
It was a great weekend all in all, hopefully to be repeated through the year.
