Beavers (Note 16th / 17th January)

Dear Parents / Guardians, Welcome back and a Happy New Year! We have plenty of fun and activities in store for 2012!! Senior Citizen Visit As part of our badge work the beavers are going to spend an evening with the Senior Citizen Group of Carrickmacross where they will provide entertainment by singing some songs we are currently learning. This will take place on Wednesday 1st February, so for that week we will NOT have a normal beaver meeting on the Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st, instead we will have a joint meeting with the Monday and Tuesday night groups from 7pm to 9pm. St Patrick’s Day Parade We are also planning to complete our dragons (which you may have seen hanging up on the Beaver room) for the St Patrick’s day parade, so if you have any old pieces of cloth at home which we could use in decorating the dragon, please take it in over the next couple of weeks.
