The Monday and Tuesday night beaver groups had some great halloween fun recently, in the build up to halloween. Fancy dress was the order of the day as the beavers all put in a great effort. Witches scary monsters, robots and plenty of blood along with princesses and even batman were seen in the scout hall.

Both nights had a party night. They started by scooping out large pumpinks and making them into lanterns.

This craft was done in the various lodges and a raffle for each lodge to see who got to take home the Pumpinks.

Then the beavers played various traditional Halloween games such as trying to eat an apple hung on a string from the ceiling. This proved to be great fun and was very challenging for some of the beavers.

Next up was the money in the basin of water game. The idea here was that the beavers had to put their face into the basin of water and retrive the money without using their hands.

After this we done the same only in a basi of flour and as you could guess this turned out very messy but great fun.

We then had a game of musical chairs where the beavers took part dress in their fancy dress. We finished off the night with a bit of dancing to the music and the beavers enjoyed eating all their sweets and drinks.
