Venture May Bank Holiday weekend
Written by Niamh Woods
Wednesday, 09 May 2012
This May bank holiday the ventures decided to rip it up big style in Carlingford!

The weekend kicked off Saturday not too early (as Colum does like his sleep!) with cycling over to Carlingford. Some more ventures who were too lazy to cycle joined us that evening for an excellant bit of criac. After some considerable effort everyone even managed to get their tents pitched!

The weekends activities included foot tag, singing TinaTurner classics, some skillfully played pontoon, some fluke filled pontoon, eating cake, the sneer, food eating competitions and getting stuck in the childrens swings!

Also then there was cycling as mentioned, kayacking and laser tag.

The weekend ended Monday with a serious bit of rain a puncture and a bag of apple sours!

What a bit of criac that was had! Roll on the next one!
